Tuberculosis Types and Symptoms. TB is a contagious bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It primarily affects the lungs. Likewise, it can also target other parts of the body, such as the kidneys, spine, and brain leading to various complications. It has been a major global health concern for many years, with millions of people affected worldwide. 

In this article, we will explore the types, symptoms, and diagnosis. How it is spread? It spreads through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, releasing tiny droplets containing the bacteria. Some piece of advise for people infected should separate their personal belongings. Cover the mouth when sneezing. Finish the six (6) months treatment. Eat nutritious foods and sunlight. Also exercise in moderate is helpful for recovery.

When an infected person coughs or sneezes, the bacteria can be inhaled by others nearby, increasing the risk of infection. Factors that contribute to the spread of  include crowded living conditions, poor ventilation, and weakened immune systems.

Types and Symptoms

There are two symptoms of this disease. First, Active Symptoms may occur: Persistent cough that lasts for more than three weeks Chest pain and discomfort coughing up blood or phlegm, fatigue and weakness, unintentional weight loss ,night sweats, fever and chills. 

Second, Latent Symptoms Latent: being inactive, does not cause any symptoms. However, it can progress to active if left untreated. 

 
Diagnosis and Testing
There are many ways to diagnose this disease. Some of it and there  several tests and examinations are available.
One of the test is Tuberculin Skin Test also known as the Mantoux test, it involves injecting a small amount of tuberculin into the skin and observing the reaction. A positive result indicates exposure to it but does not necessarily indicate active
